The Hidden (Part 5)

I submit to you that Yah decided to limit Israel’s knowledge of Him, to limit Israel’s understanding in an effort to decrease their accountability due to their high level of disobedience. It was the only thing He could do to preserve his promise and protect his reputation among the nations.

So, does all of this make sense? Let’s look once again at the judgment and the account of what happened next.

There was an undisclosed plague (perhaps blindness). There was a removal of Yah’s presence from nation (it is hard to get to know someone that is not there). Finally, it appeared the Yah’s communications from that point were through Moses alone.

Is this why today we do not know His Name above all Names? Is this why today we do not know what time it is?

For all the profanity on the TV and all around us we should have been destroyed as the Isrealites should have been. And yet His Grace abounds. How much else is hidden due to our own disobedience? How much more has been blinded from us for the sake of His Name? These are sobering thoughts and questions.

I believe there is merit to this truth. For the sake of protecting Yah’s promises and Yah’s reputation among the nations, Yah has blinded generations of believers from truth that would have required their destruction due to their stiff necked disobedience. As Paul says, truly, His grace is sufficient for us!!

Perhaps that is why Yashua Messiah uses the phrase “for those that have ears to hear let them hear.” He knows that much of mankind is blinded due to their disobedience but He also knows that there is a remnant out their that have an obedient heart and may not be as blinded and Yah is able to reveal Himself more fully.

Do I have an obedient heart, can Yah reveal Himself to me, am I stiff necked????
